Jack Bloom - President
Jack Bloom is an investor, local business owner and has over 30 years of experience in rugby. Jack is a founding member of The Rugby Foundation. He has been president of the Foundation since 2007.

Art Acuna - Vice President
Art is a founding member of The Rugby Foundation and served as President of The Rugby Foundation from 2000-2004.

Terry Nixon - Treasurer
Terry Nixon is the founder and owner of Texas Media Systems. Terry is also a founding board member of the Rugby Foundation and former Huns RFC member. He has lived in Austin since 1987 where he and his wife are raising three children.

Mitch Pryor - Secretary
Mitch Pryor is a faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin where he is also the Program Manager for the Robotics Research Group. Mitch is a founding member of the Rugby Foundation and was president of a local rugby club, the Austin Huns from 1997 to 1999

Chris Bugge - Member
Christopher Bugge was born and raised in London, England. Emigrating to USA in 1970 he became Naturalized Citizen in 1978. Chris is a bioanalytical chemist specializing in HPLC-mass spectrometry and in 1990 co-founded CEDRA Corporation in Austin. The company serves the pharmaceutical industry as a clinical testing laboratory and performs pharmacokinetic studies of new drugs in human clinical trials. As Director of Scientific Affairs, Chris provided leadership in discovering new, high sensitivity assays capable of delivering femtogram sensitivity. Chris has now retired from full-time work after the recent sale of CEDRA, but still provides consulting expertise to the company as needed.

Chris began playing rugby at age 10 at Christ's Hospital boarding school in 1956, and played for the alumni Old Blues RFC in London after leaving school. In the USA, he played for UNC in Chapel Hill and helped set up the North Carolina Referees Society in 1971. He played for Montclair RFC in New Jersey 1977-1985 and was also an active member of the Met NY Referees Society. Since moving to Austin in 1985, Chris has refereed full time for the Society of Texas Referees (now known as Texas Referees Association). Chris Bugge has been on the Foundation board since 2007.
